WMOC 2022 - 2023 Scholarships
Applicant must be a current member of West Michigan Orff Chapter for one full year prior to making application, seeking Orff training, in either Levels (I, II, III), a specialized course (Master Class, Curriculum, etc.), or first time attendance at the AOSA National November Conference. Scholarship recipients must be willing to serve on the WMOC board, Technology Marketing Manager, or as Scholarship Manager for a 1-year term starting in September 2022.
Scholarships for Levels Training or Specialized Orff related course must be received by April 1, 2023 and awarded at the April 22, 2023 final workshop. AOSA National Conference Scholarship Application must be received by October 1, 2022. Awards will be given at the October 25, 2022 Workshop.

Note: If unexpected circumstances arise that prevents you from taking the course, you must return the scholarship to the chapter.
Orff Teacher Training Courses
Teacher Education Courses, known as levels courses, provide the depth of understanding of Orff Schulwerk that daylong workshops just begin. A comprehensive three-level curriculum comprised of teacher clarity and continuity to implement Orff Schulwerk into the 21st Century classroom.
The courses are offered across the country at different times during the summer. They are usually 60 credit hours in length and take two weeks to complete. Each level has different requirements and the course work is very rewarding. Teacher Education Courses, known as levels courses, provide the depth of understanding of Orff Schulwerk that daylong workshops just begin. A comprehensive three-level curriculum comprised of pedagogy, recorder and movement is designed to develop the musicianship, creativity and teaching strategies of the adult learner.
